    CV joints, help

    Hi all,
    I have a 2015 528i xdrive. I noticed when I turned right from a stop, a clicking noise. CV joints, my mechanic says. I do not want to replace the whole axle due to the cost. Rather, I would like to rebuild/replace the joints and boots. Any ideas where I could find the joints online? I have access to a shop and tools.
    I assume because its clicking, I cant replace the boot, grease it up and save it. Correct?
    I just dont want to spend a fortune on the axles.

    If it is making noise its done.

    Replace the complete axle only. Any "mechanic" rebuilding a CV joint is short sighted and foolhardy.

    Nah ... BMW has complete outer CV joint replacements for a few vehicles (not the F10 though), and replacing the outer joint in this situation would be fine.

    OP: BMW doesn't make a replacement joint. Shaft replacement is the only option that I'm aware of.
