Headlight switch light help

I am replacing my headlight switch and the little indicator light below appeared burned out (and was not illuminating). I replaced the bulb and still no illumination. Seems I am not getting any power to that plug regardless of headlight switch position. The rest of the dash is working properly. Anyone else’s experience this? Thoughts to fix? Those wires run into a loom and disappear.

I think that bulb is lit with the ignition on rather than the lights?
