Nice just got into a low mileage M3 and doing the same....picking up a turbo this weekend.

Making this M3 into what my 328is never was over the last 11 years lol.

So update. Chase bay power steering kit is working great. Ended up replacing my pump and upgrading my terrible progressive 95 steering rack to a z3m rack and wow steering is amazing. Also removed the brembo brakes and went back to stock. Did this as I wanted to run ltw wheels and couldn’t with them and also have acquired a large amount of pads and rotors for stock brakes.

Next found a nice strait set of ltw wheels which will be the daily wheels least for now lol.

Next picked up a powder coated reinforced rear subframe and just loaded it with garagistic street Polly bushings

Will you dyno the car with the cams? I am extremely curious as to what it'll make. Keep up the great work!

So few updates. Finally got my mashaw ltw spoiler mounted right before winter storage. Also sent the ltws out for refinish (hence the pics on the old asa wheels). Also started collecting a few bits to put on next spring and also have a big change in process. Boost v2 is about to go down

I'm a fan of where this is heading, obviously.

    - 98 m3, techno/anthrazit cloth, 124k and officially worthless - 89 m3, alpine/black 143k and officially old - 2000 323it, tiag/grey, 169k and officially boring

    So crazy couple months.

First ended up as usual changing my vision of the car and swapped wheels. Back on some apex arc8s though these are 17x9 245/40 squared. Absolutely love the stance

    Also installed the carbon lip

Than stuff went south. Was really noticing car did not feel powerful and also had a lot of initial vibration. Finally did a compression test and found cylinder 2 dead. Guessing when I was having super charger struggles and ran insanely rich washed a cylinder. Either way had a bad motor

Luckily got a amazing deal on a 85k s52. Swapped my vanos cams clutch setup and resealed and got the motor back in the car in a week or so. Just got her back up and running feels million times better

I know I know. The ASA wheels are 17 and to my credit I still have. I own 2 e36's so I have about 4 sets of wheels floating between the two

So ripped it out tore it down found some trashed crank bearings, clogged coolant jackets. Basically you always gamble going used so I was done, time for a new motor.

So used my two torn down motors took them to machine shop. Ended up with 87mm 11:5:1 je pistons, supertech valve springs to go with my 276/270 cams, 24lb injectors, arp hardware, baffled oil pan, oil pump wire nut, stewart water pump, aa long tube headers

Love it . High comp with cams, and proper exhaust should make some good NA power.

Any plans to get it dyno tuned
