    WTB rear trim panel

I want to know if anyone has a set of preferably tan rear trim panels for a E32 735i 1986 and up. (not sure if the panels from a 740i or 750il fit) They are listed on Realoem.com as part number 51338114605 and 606. They are not listed as ended or NLA but the dealer says they can not get them.

Anyone know where some might be available.

Also looking for a leather boot for the stick shift part number 25111221397

    Thank you

I checked a dealer in Germany, but their site says "nicht mehr lieferbar". However, Maximilian Importing lists them for around $60 ->here. I would give them a call. I've ordered from them in the past and kinda like them.

How is your headliner? If you'll have to re-do that, I'd buy any color trim panels from someone who parts out a car (just need to make sure that the tabs aren't broken) and get them redone together with the headliner.

Hey Zieg, A solution would be to call these people https://specializedgerman.com/ They're in Sacramento and have taken over BMW recycling. They have crashed E32's on the lot. Any color would be good if you decide to do your headliner, then https://www.gahh.com/ has exact color match in material. You'll need four yards to do the headliner, sunroof, your two back panels, two front pillars and the square above you where the switches are. If you go that route everything will be new and you'll have enough left over scrap to do the sunroof a second time if it messes up. My upholsterer took one day to do the entire thing a few years ago and the labor was not much.

Hi Jeff. Thanks for the recommendations. I will try your suggestions. The headliner and the pillars are all good. It is just the rear panels. The clips on the panels snapped most likely due to the excessive heat and sun and now my driving the car in cooler weather with the windows lowered and the sun roof open.

I have been contacted by another E32 owner local to me. I have not meet him yet as I have had some difficulties getting my cracked windshield replaced so I am not driving the E32 much. Long story!. Abdul had suggested another Florida meet up if we can set it up I will invite him to attend.

    Regards,

    Zieg

I just took a look at the leftover material I have from my interior job. I always thought I had just enough leftover to redo the sunroof if I needed to. That's always where the headliner goes bad if you open and close it often. I see I have more than enough. Not sure if your beige is the same color as mine, but if you get one or two of those panels (I think we're talking about the same ones.....with the light in it), I'll give you enough material to cover them. Let me know what you end up doing. This is what I've got left.

    rear panel

    Hi Jeff;

    Thanks for the offer!

The cloth is fine it is the clips on the inside of the panel that attach to the body of the car that are broken. If I find a set of panels in a different color I may take you up on your offer to recover them.

Jeff and Dirk thank you. I contacted both Maximilian and Specialized but neither had the parts. I'll just keep looking.

Bob, maybe try this guy in British Columbia: https://www.bimmerparts.ca/
I already bought a few parts from him. If shipping is an issue and if you can wait until May, I can help of course.

Thanks Dirk. I sent them and email with the part numbers. I am getting extremely frustrated by not being able to get the correct parts for this car.

Bob............AS I'm searching different places for you I just wanted to make sure I'm looking for the right thing. This is what you're looking for, right. With the light inserted in it. I have a few places that do used interior parts but I just want to make sure that this is the part. It's falling out because the clips are broken.

I think I have somebody for you. My first email they asked me what color. I said Beige would be nice but I have material. Here's what they just sent me. Give me the info and I'll forward it to them. These people break up loads of old BMW's. They're in Ohio.

Hi, OK, what's the production year/model of the E32? There were a few different beige colors used throughout production. Generally 87-90 cars use Natural Tan, 91-94 cars use Parchment Tan (which is darker/has more gray in it). I don't think I have a complete set of either color but I believe I have single sides, so I might have at least a partial solution for you. You could also send me the last 7 digits of the car's VIN, I can look up the interior trim code with that.
