Going a different route so I'm selling my supercharger kit. This is a turn key complete setup. Direct plug and play. The Shaft seems to have no play and this is a clean setup over all. This was removed from a 1997 BMW M3, but will also fit on a 1992-1995 OBD1 car with a few minor adjustments.
RARE and no longer available through DINAN.
I might be missing some parts but this is what is included:

I'm curious if this setup would bolt up to an M52TU... Anyone know about that?

It should, but you will need different tuning, boost side intake piping adjustment/complete rebuild, and you would need to convert to a hydraulic tensioner on the oil filter housing (mechanical tensioner is not compatible). Possibly the intake side of the supercharger piping would also need playing with. Oil feed for the supercharger would need to be a different TU compatible fitting (E36 provided part is not).

At 3.5 bar they flow more like 32 lbs and 345 rwhp is about the limit. 32x6=192 lbs. A forced induction S52 is pretty efficient so you can go down from the 0.6 lb fuel per hp rule of thumb for forced induction. I think it’s in the 0.45 to 0.50 range. 192/0.45=426 hp and 192/0.50=384 hp, so somewhere in that crank hp range is theoretically possible. With 15% drivetrain loss, 345 rwhp is about 400 crank hp.
The math just barely works. Not much margin, though.
Peak hp is at about 6000 rpm. Figure the 345 rwhp is made in maybe a 1000 rpm range. How long do you spend in that range? Many forced induction E36 just get a highway pull now and then for 5 seconds. That is easier to survive than a top speed run that could require near maximum duty cycle for 10 seconds plus and things might change. Or track the car and get it really hot.
Meth injection for safety would help.
I know this is an old post, but still have it?
