I was at the office while the car was in the shop so I called it a wash. I'm a contract engineer, so only get paid when I'm actually at work.
While I think I could have pulled this off on my own, my weekends are sacred these days.
To each their own and happy motoring!

I should take a new photo some day. The diff kit would look better with the shiny new Supersprint pipes.

I am a shade-tree guy, but I don't see how something that does not have vibration dampeners on it will survive without cracking something, eventually? I also agree with the other poster about the tie into the side rails. Without that, there is a risk of some stress on that small span from the repair to the rails. AND I also see some pretty crappy work from shops. I had to do my own rebuild of my Ford Diesel after a shop messed it up. Thank goodness I had a lift to pull the cab off. I used to work on my back on the floor too. I'm too old for that now. (Sounds like I make a living doing something else. Wink)
My 2 cents...
FWIW, I was stubborn and I created my own version of the Randy kit. In hindsight, I should have just bought his. AND the Rogue Engineering dual ear diff looks awesome when following the car. Hah!
