Got my car dynoed on E85 and it did 525whp through an auto. This was with GT4094R at 18psi and 20 degrees of timing.


However the boost spiked down to 16psi at 5k then got back to about 18psi by 6k. Rear water hose started dripping water on this pull. There are no leaks on lower boost so me thinks this points to a leaking HG (Titan copper & figure 8 SS wire on block & ARP 2000). I did retorque the head to 85 ftlb before heading to the dyno but none of the studs were loose.


Opinions? Retorque to 100 lbft and hope for the best or just pull the head and swap in Elring gasket? What about gasket prep? Just clean it good and install it bare or prep the gasket with either Shellac, copper spray or Hylomar?
