How is the '///M3' trim badge held on?

Simple question, couldn't find easily online.

How is the oem ///M3 trim badge held on? Mine started peeling up today (-20F) ....It hasn't fallen off, maybe in my warm garage it'll flatten out, but I'm preparing for the worst of it coming off.

Any info will help, before I JB weld it on.

...and my entire driver door trim decided it wanted to vacate the door, so the trim isn't liking this weather - but the big trim piece is pretty easy to put back on in the warm.

    pic (non oem) for reference:

From ECS...they just have two posts? And somehow stick in the trim?

The badge has two plastic posts that insert through the trim/moulding and are held in with a metal retainer.

In this diagram the retainer is no 6 pn 51132251639, called "Fuse" for whatever reason

If the "Sticker" portion of it is peeling off, you can just glue it back down with whatever holds it down (make sure to clean the old adhesive off).

If the the whole badge, including it's little plastic carrier is coming off, then, as de Witt suggested, you'll need new metal retainers after you check to make sure your posts are still good. It goes Badge>>Trim>>Retainer. The door trim is "sandwiched" between the badge and it's metal retainers.

Skip the proper OEM mounting. Silicone the eff out of it like every Facebook kid would.

(Obviously I’m joking. Do it right, don’t be a FB schmuck.)

    Thanks Guys!

Turns out LockDots is actually right, it's just the adhesive sticker...so sadly epoxy will probably be the fix

...driving this car in the snow is a blast, but in the cold/dry roads....kind of just a pain.

...and now the door sensor is starting to go, so it keeps cracking my window on me
