    Service warning update

Months ago I learned from this site how to reset the service countdown information om my E85 Z4. As I change my own oils and fluids I wanted to do that, but when I followed the instructions the counter simply started to count down to the next scheduled mileage. I want to change the oil again in the next few days but if I reset the counter again it will start to count down to the next scheduled odometer reading which has little to do with my change regime. If I don't reset the counter it will indicate "Zero" and then what will happen. Will I have to ignore a long lasting indicator on my dash as the computers think I am driving with old oil?

The count down will just go negative. Leave it reset put an oil change sticker in on the window. I would be changing the oil every 5k
