I'm picking up a '93 525i for next to nothing in order to get the M50 out of it for my e30. The car is complete, though not close to being driveable due to brake and suspension issues. I'm just pulling the stuff I need for the swap and then will scrap the shell. But while I have it - are there any parts that would be worth pulling off of it to sell (for cheap) to e34 folks like you guys? Preferably stuff that would not take major effort to pull.
Thanks in advance for any tips!

A big one that people overlook when they first start parting cars are the cats. I gave the first few sets away on the first cars I parted.
You can sell them at the scrap yard for $15 each or something like that, but a member on here let me in on what might be the best way to do it, and it has made me a lot money since.
He told me to cut the flanges/pipes off, and take pictures of the cat so you can see the honeycomb material on the inside, and also maybe the part number if it is still visible. Post them up on Ebay under scrap metals, and make it clear they are not for installation. I have gotten away with saying they are from an early 90s import sedan, but if you get too specific eBay will flag it and bring the ad down since it violates their rules of selling cats for reuse, which is illegal. You just want to make sure that the guys who are dealing in scrapping these cats get a hint, and it seems like they know what they are looking for.
Depending on the metal market at the time, I have sold cats for $180-400.

I would say any panels that dont have rust on them...
Besides what has been mentioned... the doors, door cards, headliner, shift surround and boot, and the bumpers.
Windshield trim if you can get it off cleanly. Heck, the windshield itself is worth it if not too pitted.
Window channels.
Driveshaft and axle CV joints (or whole) if they're hand-tight. New axle joints are unavailable separately, while the driveshaft joints and whole axles cost a fortune.
Hood, doors, and bumpers if intact and you have the space.
Grill parts if intact.
Diff if LSD.
AC condenser if you have purge equipment or the system is empty already.
Headlights aren't worth much if free-form, but foglights are worth pulling unless heavily pitted or cracked.
Dash pad if not warped, especially if non-airbag.

What color interior? If light silver grey mark me for upper rear seat belt trim!
The seats if in good condition. All body panels, bumpers, lighting assemblies, differential, steering wheel if it's a good one.
