    M50, M52, S52, M54 adjustable cam timing blocks

Edit; you can order from here

    https://www.alien-engineering.com/product-page/alien-engineering-m5x-adjustable-cam-timing-blocks

I've started producing these 3D printed cam timing blocks. They
    work on all M42, M50, M52, S50, S52, M54 engines.

Works just like the factory timing blocks but have built in angle for 0-15 degrees of advance or retard so you can adjust both intake and exhaust to any centerline you like. They snap onto the back of the cams and will not fall off. They are reversible so, one side of the block advances the cam, the other side retards the cam.

The non vanos blocks are for installing a non vanos intake cam into the exhaust side of the head for a cheap upgrade over M50 cams. Paired with an M54B30 intake cam makes for a very cheap and easy cam upgrade. For example a typical setup would be the M50nv cam installed at 101 LCA and an M54B30 cam installed 4-8 degrees advanced. If using 2 non vanos intake cams you can install the exhaust at 101 degrees LCA and retard the original NV intake cam 8-12 degrees to gain a significant amount of top end power.

    Pricing

    $20 each (minimum of 2)
    $100 for a set of 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 degree blocks.

Free shipping on everything. I should be able to do free on almost all international orders.

If you want a different color or a custom angle please send me a message, that is no problem. Anything from 0-40 degrees will be easy to make.

Hello, I'm interested in this item, more specifically in the NON vanos block, but I'm a bit confused. Why would you retard the intake cam 8 degrees? Thanks in advance.

You can email me at perry.hubbling@outlook.com. The timing depends on what cams your using. Some cams need to be advanced, and others need to be retarded. It also depends on what the desired RPM range is.

Sure, I know what the centerlines of the cams are (I have data on most of them) I can simulate it in dynosim5 and make a recommendation.

hey i'm sorta confused so i'm about to ask a stupid questions ok?

so for an m52 engine, m50nv intake cam on exhaust, and m54b30 intake cam, you just need an 8* retard block?
How about for an m52 with S52 cams? What are the other combos for? can you give examples?

would you say the m50nv/m54 combo is close to the s52 cams? they are extremely hard to find right now.
i don't know anything about cams but i do know the m52 cams are super weak.
