I just don't understand why people don't put pertinent information like price, history, "the good", "the bad", etc. in their for sale ads. Hell, if someone has to contact you to get the info you're putting it out there anyway so what are you afraid of by putting it out in the first place? Then you only need to go through the process once. People are either going to be interested and then contact you or scroll on by. Rant over...Sheesh!!!

On some forums that I also frequent there are templates that you need to fill out to create a good ad. Also, folks usually offer ONE dollar when no price is mentioned.
Not afraid of anything. The reason for 'putting it out there' is that this is the first time I've attempted to sell a classic car like this in addition to the fact that it isn't my own car, it's my friend's. I wanted to buy it from him and paid 1500 so far, but can't come up with the remaining cash. I need the money I invested so far back out of it, and my friend needs it out of his life. Of course my friend was going to give me a ridiculous deal on it, but I'm pretty sure it should sell for somewhere in the neighborhood of $6K-$8K. I'm just a noob - but if you have any thoughts about the best way to price it, please give them to me. That's the reason I put it on a FORUM, so that I might get some help from experts like yourselves.
