    Need some tips...

For the first time in nearly 12 months I was able to semi drive my E32 (massive coolant leak still) with a new engine, 6spd swap, and a manual engine harness and holy cow the torque. First off, after many hours of bleeding my clutch bite point is literally the floor (getting better). Second, anyone have any tips to driving in the snow with an open diff E32 without ASC+T (wont work with manual). My e46 bumped into a curb and destroyed the lower control arm and CV axle and it was cheaper to get the E32 driving again.

The right tires are important. All seasons aren't as good in snow as a good tire made for snow.

Yup, running a new brass pivot from ECSTuning. It doesn't drag ever so slightly anymore like it first did (had a friend hold the clutch in as I spun the tire) after the many hours of bleeding and now goes into gears smoothly.

Finding any tire for the E32 is a challenge. I have found like two at the 225/60R15 size.

This thread has useful info about tires for the E32: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...-sizes-for-E32

Many of us have chosen to upsize +1 or +2 because 1) the standard style 2's don't look very good and 2) the 15" selection is very slim. That said it is possible to upsize without breaking the bank or having ridiculous looking wheels. The styles 42, 61, 5 and 9 all look excellent and period correct on an E32.

I wish I had the money for wheels right now but im stuck on the college student budget of roman noodles and water. Right now my E32 has the style 7 wheels which don't look bad I feel like. I saw somewhere that 205/65R15 will fit just fine? That would be perfect since that size has about 15 snow tires with half of them able to be studded.
