    Identify Radio cables

    Hello - can someone tell me what the cables are in the back of the radio? i dont have tech nor navi

    That’s odd. Here’s why. From model years 1999 to 2002 (inclusive) the head unit has 2 radio frequency (RF) inputs: AM and FM. Starting in 2003 the head unit, made by Alpine, has a single RF input. That single input carries both AM and FM signals. It looks like your car has a head unit from an earlier car. Remove the head unit and take pictures of the head unit labels.

    How to remove the head unit:
    - remove the 2 horizontal trim pieces
    - remove the 2 phillips screws
    - slide the head unit out.

    Ah shoot! forgot to update my profile. I also have the 2013 X1 E84. The radio is for the X1. Can we move it back to the X1 area? Thanks

    My bad! sorry about that. I should of stated its for my 2013 X1 and not the 2003 325 wagon.
