Wich one is better to put a turbo: m50 vs m54?

My days of dreaming are in the end and ill finally be able to buy my so dreamed e36. Well, now, the thing is: i need to know what engine i should look after to fit a turbo and run 500 whp with oem internals.
I have 3 good options here:
    e36 325i m50b25
    E36 328i m50b28

    Or a e46 330 m54b30

The thing about the e46 is that it is a car of a friend of mine and it is in good condition, 323 coupe with m54b30 swap. Otherwise i would come back to look my original idea to go after a rusty e36 to do all the things.

So, what is the best option?

My vote is the M50, as it is OBDI ECU.
If you are in the US the 328 is a M52B28”. Plenty of tunes out there, however I still vote OBDI.

Haha, I vote OBD2 for the simplicity in tuning. There have been huge advances in tuning these, and it's significantly easier to log and change settings.
10 years ago it wasn't like this at all.

Im in brazil and it is harder to find a m52, it will only be available on 328 models 1997-1999.

But why m52? Just because of obd2? Isnt the all iron m50 more resistant than the aluminium m52?

M52 here in brazil it is harder to find, just a few models who came here in 1997-1999 and only in 328’s
But why would you choose a aluminium rather than a iron m50? Just because of obd?
Isnt 500 on the wheels to much for m52 and 54?

In the US the M52 2.8L (and 2.5L) from 1996 -1999 is an iron block in the E36 Sedan and Coupe.
