    1991 E30 automatic how do you replace the neutral safety switch?

    Ok I have removed the drivers seat, E brake cover, removed shifter console, i have removed the shifter from the car, now I see what looks like a roll pin that needs pounded out to separate the shift arm from the linkage arm. I am not able drive the pin out any thoughts? Damn beamer

    No e30s, again :(
    No roll pin. Should be a circlip. Also, no neutral safety switch on these

    Were you able to complete the job? Did you have to detach the shifter linkage from below?
