After start it runs good for couple of seconds, then starting misfires in cylinder 4, 5, 6. Replaced spark plugs, switched coils between banks( 123 and 456). Also it was leaking oil so I replaced valve cover gasket kit, vvt gasket, vvt shaft position sensor gasket. During replacement found that PCV valve membrane was bad so the valve was replaced as well. Result is no changes at all. Also INPA stated faulty VANOS solenoid error code 2A82(intake), switched them and got the 2A87(exhaust) so the bad vanos is confirmed but still Im not sure that bad solenoid can cause whole second bank misfire. Tryed to disconnect both oxygen sensors before converter with cleaning all adaptations. I got this car in this condition and trying to isolate and solve the problem instead of replacing everything. By the way compression is 14 atm in all cylinders. Would be appreciate for any help.
Climb underneath car and check grounding strap. Then, if is is original braided copper wire, replace with one from local auto parts store. Those go bad and cause all sorts of problems. Easy fix and checks a box off.
Thanks. Will try this weekend.
Secondary converter was clogged. Problem solved.
