Hey guys - new member here but really enjoying the community here. So I sprayed some degreaser on my engine and power washed it and now I get a pretty loud screeching noise from the engine - specifically at startup. So tough to tell where it's coming from. I'm pretty handy and ready to roll up my sleeves but not sure where to start. The fan on the front? A pulley somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. Here a YouTube video I took of the symptoms. Start at 4:55.
It's a 2003 330ci Convertible.

With a cold engine, try taking one of the belts off in turn and see if the problem disappears. That will tell you if a belt is making the noise. You then need to look at all drives and pullies associated with that belt.
If you have a mechanical fan, the clutch could be the cause. look at this if the belt removal work does not locate the source.

If you didn't have the noise prior to spraying degreaser on the engine, I'd guess you got some on the belt(s). Either it didn't get sufficiently cleaned off the belt, or the belt needed replacing anyhow. Wither way, now's a good time to replace both belts and the pulleys if they haven't been done in the past 100k.
I listened to your video...
Go to a parts store and get crc belt spray.
