Hey all, I was trying to access Johans site, specifically the section regarding the water valves but it looks like the site is down. Does anyone have a mirror of the site or the page saved?

I have been hunting down a coolant leak ever since getting the heater core issue taken care of. Finally found that the source was the water valve.
Other than that I am a bit lost as to what has failed and how to proceed. However I did notice that the rubber I pulled out of my heater core looks a lot like the gaskets in the water valve repair kit.
Any assistance is always appreciated!
Will come back, Mike is doing some service on his server.
Usually the original heater valves last long, but you can try such a repair kit from Ebay with new seals. What you have to check first is the aux water pump under the heater valves, that get's cracks at the bottom where the internal motor is, I also had a crack there and it was leaking from there to the exhaust.
Here is Johan's site with the wayback machine , but the pics do not work https://web.archive.org/web/20180304...tervalves.html
go to my site, I have plenty of pics how to disassemble and clean heater valves.
Instead of the expensive Hella or Behr you could try chinese copies for $60-100, have read different results, some claim the hose connector broke off, others say works fine, maybe just luck to find the right one, probably there are many makers.

Johan's site works again. I was in contact with Mike Oswald who is hosting and maintaining the Johan & Sean site since more than 10 years. He had a server/firewall problem some weeks ago, that is why the site was down for some weeks as he was waiting for parts, had to replace some parts in the server. Now working again.
