    Possible ecu issue?

So here is a story of trouble.

I had pulled my car (2003 330xi, 5speed) into my driveway after what felt like a loss of power over a month ago. After shutting it down it never wanted to start again. The car had spark and cranks. Upon investigation I found to be a fuel issue. With power going to the fuel pump but it not running, I decided this should be my culprit. I then replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter.

After completing the task, I moved on to starting the vehicle with no prevail. I now found that there was no longer power to the pump?!?! Could be the fuses or the relay?

I moved on to checking every fuse and also went as far as to swap then replace the fuel pump relay with the horn relay. Still no luck. I did some more testing and found that it was possible that the fuel pump wire may have been damaged, so I decided I would run a new one.

Before getting to this point the car decided ed d to throw me a new loop into the equation. The next time I turned my key the instrument cluster was completely black and not responsive to me cranking or even turning on the dash lights. Nothing is lighting up. I double checked the fuses again and they are all passing power properly.

I am now at a stressful stop and need some new eyes on the situation. I am wondering if in the end it may have been or became the dme/ecu?

Car sat for a month after multiple attempts to start. Battery definitely needs a charge.

Not sure where you are but a completely discharged battery will freeze. When the battery is discharged completely, the electrolyte turns to water. If it is frozen, it could be damaged. Also you will need to thaw it out before attempting to charge.
