    2nd Valve Cover Attempt

3 weeks ago I completed the valve cover gasket replacement and the job went alot easier than I thought it would. There are no leaks along the cover except at the plug wells. Not as much as before the replacement but leaking in 4 wells none the less. I went with the Felpro gasket the first time and want to use a different brand this time around. Any suggestions would be helpful. Most say to stay away from Victor Reinz. How about the Malle brand?

    I use OE purchased online.
Work in a circular pattern starting in the center when reattach the cover. Use fresh “doughnuts” or “ Rubber Seal” (15) 11121437395 for maximum ‘squish’.

The gasket brand wont vary in quality that much. Felpro should be fine. Did you torque it to spec? Valve covers will leak if you torque it to "feel". Also make sure the surfaces are extra clean (brake cleaner/paper towel) and you should be good with no leaks

I get my parts from fcp Euro. Fast shipping, low prices, quality parts, and lifetime replacement. Best deal out there imo

Some times the whole cover needs to be replaced along with the gasket

Usually the reason for gasket leaks after replacement is that the original surfaces didn't get cleaned well enough. Did you get all of the "circles" around the plug wells nice and clean?
