I finally did a smoke test and found the only leak I had was at the PCV. Turns out it was pretty much shot (loosey goosey) for a while in there and I didn't even know it. Anyway I replaced it today. Had to put a little oil around the O-ring to get the replacement on which I'm sure is a good thing (nice tight fit). But I thought I read on here before that I would have to "reset" the ECM or DME or whatever it's called to get the system to recalculate the fuel air ratios or something to that effect. Is this true? Or is this replacement pretty much just a plug and play job?
Reset on a OBD I? Is that unplug the battery for 15 min? I think it will correct eventually also. FYI the PVC hoses seem to also and you may want to replace them. Mine were loose and cracked.
