    Potential purchase - E93 M3

    I've been away from BMW's for several years now. Considered an E92/93 M3 back in the day but bought a 996 turbo instead. Now I'm thinking about getting an E93 again since prices have come down so much. Mostly as a fun weekend car and occasional daily driver.

    A few quick questions:
    * Is the top pretty reliable on the vert? Are leaks common? I imagine replacing any of it could be $$;
    * Is the back seat big enough for an adult to comfortably sit in? I need to go find one to test it out. I assume legroom is the same as the Coupe? I wouldn't be opposed to the 4-door E90 but those are pretty rare these days.

    Thank you!!

    Sorry, dude, but I don't have an E93, so I can't really respond. Good luck.

    Hey, it's the thought that counts .

    I'll go check out the Coupe as well. If the backseat is adequate, definitely an option. Don't "need" a vert per se.

    I've had adults ride in the back seats without a problem. I'm not very tall, but that could make things tight for the people in the back.

    I like the lines of the coupe more than the sedan and the convertible.

    Yea, no tall people. There's only one person who rides with us frequently and she's like 5'4" orso. As long as it's comfortable for 2-3h max, should be fine.

    I'm 5'9" as a driver. My wife is 5'3"

    You both sound around the same as my wife and I. Unless the E93 rear seats are vastly different, you should be good to go.

    Cool, I'll see if I can find a clean example that had the rod bearings done. Seems like that's the main weak point on that motor.
