Hello,
I got a good deal on a set of bixenon lights for my facelifted E46. I have been doing research on how to install them and get everything working. I went to test the one of the lights and found I only had one plug for the low beam light in my harness and one for the high beam. The ballast has two plugs but my harness only has one. Can someone help me figure out where this other plug is or how to make one? I have found that I have to run a wire from pins 2 and 36 on the LCM to get the shutter solenoid to move, but that is another project. Mostly everything I have been able to find pertains to retrofitting Angel Eyes with xenons but not replacing the factory headlights with OEM bixenons. TIA, Doug.
Pretty sure that 2nd smaller plug actuates the solenoid for the shutter when you push your stalk out.
