    325i 2006 BMW

    Electrical Issue

    325i newly replaced CAS 2 months later no power no start again. Battery not holding charge as well

    Has it had the battery cable recall done? Some vehicles that weren't included in the recall still had the problem. The main battery cable connection fails in the front fuse panel (passenger footwell area).

    Who replaced the CAS? If it was replaced at a dealership or a good BMW specialist shop, it will be warrantied. Certainly, you're going to want to connect the car to ISTA (BMW's diagnostic system), to diagnose the current (CAS?) failure, as well as the parasitic drain or charging failure.

    Without the ISTA diag, you're just going to be guessing.
