Do they or nah? I know all 1995s had it.

All short wheelbase 740i Sports (99-01) have the 3.15 diff. Long wheelbase 740iL Sports have the standard 2.93 diff. The 95 3.15 diff was all 740i and 740iL cars (with the M60B40 engine). 96+ has the 2.93 diff. V12s have a 2.81 diff (with no exceptions that I know of).
RSLIFKIN is spot on.

Yeah, exactly what i was looking for . Thx guys.
Gotta ask....why wouldnt they put them in the 740IL sport models but only the 740i's??
The 740iL sport package was watered down in other ways too. It was pretty much just nicer seats, staggered M parallels and the shadowline trim (so mostly an appearance package). Only the short wheelbase got the other performance parts (stiffer springs, bigger front sway bar, 3.15 diff, higher stall torque converter, steptronic).
Actually...the 740iL sport pkg didn't even get some of the interior "sport" cosmetics like the 18-way sport comfort seats, STEPTRONIC gear shift, or 3 spoke M steering wheel.
The 740iL sport pkg only included 4 options:
- EDC (this is the only dynamic "sport" characteristic of the LWB 740iL sport pkg)
- Staggered 18" style 37 MPars
- Shadowline exterior trim
- Vavona interior trim
