    Engine vibration

2006 325i 6MT. Parked it, went inside, came back out to start it and all the sudden it vibrates. It is a fast vibration. There is no CEL and I have no loss of power. It does this while stationary in neutral as well so I have ruled out drivetrain. It vibrates at a lower frequency while idling and gets higher and worse between 800-1600. I can feel it more so during acceleration through first and second. Clutch is fine and it shifts smoothly. It feels as if some piece of rotating mass is out of balance. Motor mounts look fine upon visual insepection and I cannot rock the motor at all. Can something in the clutch assembly become out of balance but still work properly? God I hope not.

We have had the aluminum bolts break that hold the engine mount arm to the block. I would check for faults even though warning light is not on
