318 manual trans removal: stuck

Attempting to remove the trans from a 95 318.
After removing the bolts I tried pulling and wiggling the transmission out, but it will only release about an inch or so between block and bell housing. Seems to be stuck on something internally?
Everything is out of the way, tunnel is clear etc.
Any ideas?

Did you disconnect the shifter components and slave cylinder and line, reverse light harness and starter bolts. I'm in no way trying to insult you. Just going through things off the top of my head.

Or you might have to push up on the trans a Lil due to imput shaft binding from trans being angled funky.

I forgot to remove the 10mm bolt from bell housing shield...whoops

No prob that's what we all here for haha. Glad ya figured it out. Always seems something dumb like that happens.
