2008 328i Fully serviced and all fluids changed about six months ago, even the trans and rear end, again fully gone over by my mechanic who I do recommend.
Eurotech Automotive in Spring Hill FL, been using him for years.
He does have all the latest BMW Bluetooth scanners and constantly sends his employees to stay BMW certified. The only SIL I have on is the yellow triangle with the
exclamation point in it, it stays on constantly. The car runs and drives like new. Eurotech states there are no codes or maintenance reminders, they have all been done, but
he can't get that one to go out because no code, even clearing did not help. I would sure love to have a happy dashboard when I get in the car.
This is the only thing I can think of, I need to get in the well and change that leaky washer pump. Could that light mean I am low on washer fluid???
Update. I am very happy to report I refilled the washer fluid this morning, started the car and no SIL lights whatsoever!!! So yes the orange triangle can mean your just low on washer fluid.
The orange triangle means you have a "check control" message, which could be anything from low washer fluid, to a bulb out. All you had to do was scroll through your check control screen and it would have shown you the low washer fluid icon.

Sure it makes sense now. I'm starting to get a better grasp on how and what the many SIL lights mean. There are a bunch of them to learn.
