There are parts on Thingiverse. Anyone know any more places for parts models? https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q...75c3d9ea8622d5
Anyone may use the 3D web interface to create parts at www.tinkercad.com The tutorials are very helpful in learning the 3D cad they have to use.
You can send the files to a business that prints 3D parts and they will print it for you and mail it to you. I believe Thingiverse also prints parts for you on order. I.E. No printer needed.
If anyone has created or creates anything for the e32, it would be nice to see it posted in the forum.
Should anyone feel ambitious, it would be nice to have the sunroof motor access door and the sunroof rails. So many parts could be created and printed for this car.
Fuel door
door handle inside assemblies
grommets
and many other aluminum and plastic parts.
Plus things can be made customized. I plan to customize the engine sound cover. I would like to make it with Transformer or some other symbol.
Engl in Germany makes some nice M70 engine sound covers, various versions http://www.engl-production.de/akustikhauben.html he makes them from Aluminium-Sandguss = alu sand casting https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sand_casting
