    Front brake calipers "whine"

Hey! My 523i's front calipers whine when hot/warm. When you push on the brake pedal, you hear a sound resembling an old bed, much like you hear when your rear bushings are bad.
    Anybody experienced that?

I'd rather die or take a walk before driving an E60 or any BMW made after Y2K.

Check and see if the pad ears and pins are lubricated

And be sure the brackets and pins are secure too and not undertorqued! Creaking doesn't sound good. I think a full caliper remove/clean/lube cycle is called for.

I'm off to do so after I replace the entire pesky windshield washer lines in the same car.
