I did an oil change on the car. The old oil had the color and viscosity of molten chocolate syrup.
The oil change was performed at -10 miles from the interval the car computes.
I used the Foxwell scanner to perform the CBS reset on the oil change interval. Now, the next
oil change is after 15,000 miles !! Is this even right ?
My current oil change was performed after about 10-12K miles I think. I just do the oill change when
the indicator goes on the car for Oil service. I keep topping off with +1 Quart when oil level drops.

DYI Tip: Make sure the oil filter cap and the housing threads are wiped clean and bone dry before
installing the oil filter back. Any oil left on either of the threads will not give a good seal and oil
starts leaking drip drip , slowly but surely. After two tries, i realized wiping it nice and clean gives
the plastic oil cap and the Aluminum housing a good oil tight grip.
Now, am i doing my next oil change after 15,000 miles or what ???
For a brand new engine, the first oil change interval is 2000Km.
ISSUES: I had the kit mailed to me with 10 bottles of oil and i poured all of it into the engine
thinking the engine took in 10L. That was a huge mistake, since the Oil level indicator went to
+1.5 and i realized the engine damage chances on this were huge. I had to take the filter
housing off, start car, take it off, start car, and now the level is at +1.2. Each time we take
the housing off, i have seen it drop about 0.2L.

Change oil at either 5k or 7500 mile intervals
I do it every 5K.......had JC at FastAttackMotorsport code the 5k Interval in when I got my tune from him. Now the car and I are on the same page
