Well let me start by saying what happened I was driving my 2006 bmw 320d 163bhp model home from work and the car lost a good chunk of power and a wooooo noise was coming from the turbo so after 2 days of hardship replacing the turbo got the car back together went for a drive and it’s lacking in power for a minute then gives boost for a split second and loses power again smells like it’s burning and the back of the turbo that connects to the cat is smoking would the cat be bad 🤔 can somebody please shed a little light on this I’m completely stumped now thanks so much in advance

What are the diagnostic trouble codesm as read by a BMW specific diagnostic computer? Have you checked your work, and verified that everything is correctly connected and tight?

I’m hoping to get somebody with a diagnostic software to plug it in tomorrow I rechecked everything and all is ok I only tested the car about a mile and a half stopped and could smell like a burning smell and a bit of smoke coming up from the rear of the turbo
