    2006 E90 330i Overheating

I have a 2006 E90 330i were I just replaced the water pump, thermostat and radiator after my daughter ran into a pickup truck. I have bled the system from looking at youtube videos and I'm still worried something is borked. Also, the fan won't start after running 12-15min or with the A/C on full blast. I've checked the top hose gets pretty hot and the lower one between the radiator and thermostat is cold. Any pointers to look for? Can I check a fuse or something? No error codes when I put a scan tool or on the dash panel. I turn the car off after I start seeing some steam coming from the radiator area. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thx

How was the radiator damaged and not the electric fan, just asking. So when you bled it, the heater controls were full warm and when it was bleeding via the electric water pump you should have seen a pretty active little stream of coolant going back into the expansion tank, this is at the top of the tank right below the where the cap screws down.

My daughter drove the car into the back of a pickup truck. The a/c condenser and radiator took most of the damage except for the fan. When I bled the system I did have the heater controls at full heat and the fan at low, 10sec on the gas pedal and I could hear and see the stream of coolant coming into the tank. Let that run for 12 min or so. Prior to the accident the system was working fine, I replaced those components like the thermostat and water pump since I already had the front end off.

The fan is plugged in all the way? Did a bunch coolant get sprayed around because of the accident? You could check fuses. I know with tools like autologic you can run component test to see if the fan runs at all but a shop would have to do that.

Yes, If I turn the car on and disconnect the fan and reconnect it runs at high speed until I turn the car off. Let me ask at what operating temp is and what point will the car overheat? I been turning off the car at 88c and maybe not letting it reach its operating temperature. I see very little steam coming out of the left side of radiator and I start to panic.
