Hi Fellas,
I threw a check engine light shortly after performing a routine oil change on my 03' 745i. My odometer is 79k and I generally run 6k miles between oil changes and have never had an issue. This code popped up on a cold day while accelerating mid pedal up a small incline. If anyone can lend advice of a similar event or has knowledge of these codes I appreciate any help you can be.
Changing your oil and the fault codes are not related. IMO clear them and see if they come back...
first thing i woudl do is activate teh sec air pump to see if it is pumping air. I have seen them get full of water and then teh frist freeze kills them. I do it with a GT1, so you will just have to put 12v on it.
Second the dirvertor valves are behind the intake and i have replace thousands since 02. They are a pain to do but dooable as a DIY.
having both bank 1&2 makes me think you have a pump issue or hose issue since each bank has its own valve usually i see one bank or the other.

Thanks, I'll check the valve first.
yeah good luck checking the valve itself.
get the codes cleared and see if they come back, simplest thing to do and the best way to rule out a fluke code( seen that too many times)
