    HEAD LAMP CLEANING 750i

    Hello,

my HEAD LAMP CLEANING doesn t work anymore. I change pump : nothing. Pup works but nothing.

i guess it s the valve 61671378629 that is the prob (spray noozle are clean).

Any way for fixing valve ?

    Thanks.

The reservoirs are connected but separate, you may have a hole or it’s not full. FYI If the pump is working and you think hoses are broken and nothing is pouring on the ground then you need to start at reservoir and pump.

Disconnect the nozzles and see if they got clogged / they are way up front where all the dirt and debris go first

Its not easily seen, but the input end of the pump sits very low down in the headlamp reservoir, and has a cylindrical plastic filter round it. It may be that this is clogged. However, if you pull the pump out, the filter will almost certainly fall off. It is also extremely difficult to get a leak free seal between the pump and reservoir, even with a new seal.

Are you sure you changed the right pump? There are two - one for the main wash (which will operate every time you pull the wiper stalk) and there is one for the headlight wash (which will operate every FIVE times the stalk is pulled):

It’s a spacer for the nut that hold the spray nozzle assembly to bumper
