E38 Strut Bar Interest

I know I may be late to the game, but I inquired about getting a strut bar from Strong-Strut. Currently, the only way to get one is to generate enough interest for a group buy.

I too have the strong strut on my 01 750il which I took off my 01740i sport. I replaced it with the mechunik strut bar that is available on bimmian.com website for $125. It works just as good as the strong strut

I have a Bavarian Autosport one powder coated Black It was on my car but finally bellied up for a strong strut $50.00 but I won't mail it and I have an Alpina lip got it on Ebay never used it fifty more...... It's all gone sold yesterday

I've got a strong strut - unused, that I am willing to sell if anyone is interested. I was going to put it on a car I bought - but I am planning on selling that car this spring - so not needed.

Interesting. I inquired on Dec 17th and got a reply on the 10th of Jan. It seems they have no more in stock despite what the website reports.
Nonetheless, I added my name to the list and as of the 10th he stated he had 8 names of interested individuals.

All, we are away this weekend and will take a picture of the mechunik strut bar installed in my 740i when we return, we have not experienced clearance issues whatsoever.

When I put my strut bar on the turn in was a bit sharper. These are pretty stout cars and after 3 years on the track nothing was giving way like the E36 or 46.

I don’t know why Steve never went into production with a Dinan Front Strut Brace. Obviously it would beat every design in terms of aesthetics and appearance wise, but it would be in the same league, in terms of quality build and functionality to the Strong Strut build.
