NCS Expert coding inquiry for TPMS retrofit

    Greetings to all

Is is possible to add a new function line to a module file and have it work properly with NCS Expert? The coding instructions include 2 specific lines that need to be set to “aktiv” but my DSC and KMB module files do not have these functions.

Will adding the lines manually function? Are there lines specific to the file version that do the same as the two lines my modules do not have which will enable the retrofit to work?

line: CAN_RDC aktiv (found in KMB_E46.C08 to my car’s KMB_E46.C03.

line: REIFENDRUCKWARNSYSTEM aktiv (found in MK60) to my cars MK20E_I.C03 file.

This is in attempt to get the TPMS retrofit (http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showt...e-doityourself) fully functional as i have coded the other three lines needed by the KMB (as per the zhpmafia instructions) and now need the two lines listed above to see if this works.

Upon initial ignition start up the TPMS icon turns red and then back to yellow as it should but stays on all the time.

Here are the coding instructions Loading...

    Regards, Mark

That is near impossible, as those bits and bytes we change in coding are referenced in the programming/logic area of the module.
If the older module version doesn't have that logic, then adding those coding parameters wouldn't do anything.
