Hi All. I'm new to the forum. Dinan told me to check forums for ideas because they no longer have springs for my car, only struts and shocks.
I have a 2002 330ci Dinan S with the stock "sport package" suspension setup, and I just hit 262,000. I've come to notice my struts are shot, as in the last month my car bounces forever after dips and bumps. I figured I might as well replace the rear shocks at the same time. I've considered an aftermarket 3rd party suspension, but with THAT many miles, it never gets tracked, never has. Is it even worth it? Should I just go OEM and have the shop in town do the job?
Thanks for your time.
Hello and welcome to the forum! An aftermarket set from Koni or Bilstein will likely be less expensive than using OEM. Since you already have a Dinan set up, you may as well put some 'sporty' suspension on it - just my 2 cents. I'm attaching a link to our site's suspension catalog for your E46. Let us know if you have any other questions or if we can assist with any future part needs.

Yes. Your Dinan S most likely has Koni’s with Dinan springs
IF you bought the car origionally, the Koni’s come with a lifetime warranty. The down side is that you have to send them back for testing, and will be credited if they are degraded in performance.
