This is my 540 last June after a chick in a Ford Fiesta flew into me after flying out of an authorized vehicles only access cut-through between Interstate N/S.. She was going full highway speed when she exited onto the two lane interstate where I swerved to the right lane to avoid her. She cut hard left at the last moment I guess trying to avoid T boning me but she side slammed me shoving me into the right hand guardrail off which I bounced back into her and then we both went diagonally across the left lane and slammed full speed into the left guardrail. My car popped an apx 10" x 10" x 60" wood post completely out of the ground and off the rail to which is had been bolted .. the cracked windshield you can see on the right was done by my right shoulder at some point. I feel pretty safe in these..

in 2011 I was rear ended in another E 34 540 while stopped by Ford SUV going around 50 MPH. Frame was bent but I walked away.
