I’m shopping valve stem seals now and corteco has some crazy low prices...but I don’t want to take the time to do this job and then use a product that won’t last...anyone have any experience with them? How about victor reinz stem seals??
Otherwise I’ll just go for the “genuine BMW” from FCP...but they are substantially more expensive...
prices are all over the place
Goetze are $6 for 12 seals
Corteco are about the same
victor reinz are about $15
and “Genuine BMW” are $50 for 12
i don’t want to rule out the more affordable ones if their quality is the same...but the prices are so low they are suspicious.

You get what you pay for. The price is low for a reason. Talk with techs a FCPEuro. Are you removing the head to change the seals?
I’m planning to do the stem seals with the head still in the car. I don’t believe I have any valve or HG issues, so planning to get them replaced with head in place.
Go with genuine especially because it can be a difficult job, no reason for redoing work because you saved $5.
Victor reinz is generally good however their valve cover gaskets for my M5 are not so great. However they make excellent gaskets for other cars.
I would stick with genuine
Corteco is the OEM supplier to BMW for valve stem seals.
