Cleaning up old "Bottlecaps"
I am going to "attempt" a refinish on some older "bottlecap" wheels.
Rather that having them media blasted I am trying to get all the old "crud" off, especially the backs.
Wheel cleaner does not remove the back mess...what have you used to get that off?
After they are as "clean" as possible, i will lightly sand the faces and I was thinking to use some DULICOLOR silver and then clear...any suggestions...I am looking for a "good" not concours look...
tnx
