91 318 m52 stroker

Bought the rolling chasis off a friend. Bought an e36 donor car which had the m52. The m52 has m54 internals and it sounds great. Going to upload progress before im too over whelmed to. I own a body shop(@echelonmotorcar), and the shop will be performing all work seen in photos!

With the rarity and increased value of the 91 318, I can't believe you put anything but an m42 in it. But, to each their own I guess.

I would say that that rolling chassis is lucky to get a second life..!
Judging by the missing high beam I would guess that the stock setup had left the building long ago already
When we swapped mine I already had the engine and just bought another E30 with a 300k engine that was on its last legs. Now 5 years later it’s still a real blast to drive. No regrets at all

OP, what are your plans with it?
Track car, or daily driver, something to display, or?

I hope to drift the car, and maybe track it once i find a secondary diff. The current diff was welded my previous owner.

Schmidt TH lines have been added to the list. Now working on interior and brakes, having a problem with the booster i suppose causing my front brakes to stick after braking. Car runs great and cool so far..
