Rear view mirror coming apart on M Coupe

I have the auto-dimming/electrochromatic rear view mirror in my Coupe. The black plastic ring around the entire mirror glass is falling off at the top. I think some snaps might be broken.

Anyone have this part they could sell me? Previous owner looked like they unsuccessfully attempted to glue (just they they were unsuccessful at just about every damn thing they did to this car).

    Thanks!

You may want to remove it and have it looked at. There are stories here about them leaking fluid and ruining the dash. There are some threads about this problem that you can read if the search function works properly. Yours may have already had this addressed but I’m unsure how you can tell.

The mirror itself seems perfect. No problem with the spotting etc.

Maybe it was previously fixed and they damaged the plastic bezel snaps when working on it?

There was/is a company I sent my leaking mirror to for repair. They sent me a fixed unit for less than $100. Company is Sybesma's Electronics. www.sybesmas.com Phone is 800-456-4265.

I received my/a mirror back from them today. Looks perfect. Thanks for the tip!

Even though my auto-dim LCD was fine, they reburb'd the whole thing including the front broken bezel. Again, not sure if I got my mirror back or different one, but either way, great experience with multiple live telephone calls back and forth. Can't think of many companies in this day age age where I actually speak to a live person on the phone. haha

Hello all. Just picked up my 2000 M Coupe today in titanium silver. Thanks for the advice. I will call them tomorrow to set something up. My rearview mirror requires some TLC as well.
