This thread makes me feel pathetic for giving up on making manifolds for my attempted 351 swap, as it seems like you've got less room than I had.

Do the engine mounts need to be removed to R&R the finished headers??

Currently I'm deciding if I want that too be an option or not. current design you would have to remove the engine mount on the side you are removing. however, I have thought about splitting the design into two pieces so that you could remove the header without removing the engine mount, which would make disassembly very easy but I don't think I would really need to do that that often if at all. . but honesty I've made it pretty easily to remove both so I don't think it's going to be a problem for myself if I ever have to remove them for maintenance or fixing something. Factory coyote headers on mustang require you to remove the engine mount to remove them as well so it's nothing special.

And yes think about tight and then make it tighter lol.

I've got to finish welding up the collector on this side and add the 3" V band flange. Then work on finishing up the driver side. Only 47 days left til the first event. It's going to be tight!

Started messing with some wiring and was able to get the cluster lit up with the start button solid green which means it's ready to start!

Also, mustang fuel pump with some modifications fits in BMW assembly. I just have to run different hose. I'll be using a C5 regulator (58psi) to send fuel to the rail and return the rest into the tank like factory.

Doing this so I can run a simpler fuel setup engine calibration wise. Otherwise I have to run the entire mustang pwm setup which is sorta complicated.

Sorry I haven't been posting, I have around 31 days left until my first event so I haven't been taking as many photos or video.

Here's a couple photos if you have any questions just comment.

Yea, 30 days left for me too. I have much less to do than you, though! Dash looks SO cool in there, it fits pretty darn well. Do you plan on running any sort of heating/ defroster at least? Maybe a grid defroster slapped on the front?
Keep it simple: half gutted '01 330i, welded diff, BC coils, SLR Super kit

Yeah I'm going to have to get a defroster of some sort but for now that's the least of my worries. Worst case I get a 12v one and run it off the cigarette outlet

Ordered the blowfish billet power steering mount. This allows me to use a s197 power steering pump (05-09) on the coyote. I have to get an different fitting for the high pressure line put on but it looks like it's going to work nicely.

I also test fit the mustang radiator and lines and it fits inside the stock radiator support with some small trimming. Radiator hangs down a tad lower than stock but it's still above the bumper , I will have to see how low it is once the car is on the ground.

Time to take the engine out one more final time to do billet oil pump gears, brake lines and clutch line, and then should be good to put it back in, finish the exhaust up and then fire it soon hopefully!

Waiting on custom driveshaft as well from shaftmasters.

Driveshaft fits perfectly! 3.5" aluminum rated at 900whp, hopefully won't break this thing.

Getting radiator and supercharger LTR mounting figured out before I pull the motor tomorrow again.

Engine back out for billet OPG's and additional header work. Mounted a T56 style clutch reservoir so I have separate brake/clutch reservoirs, added subframe reinforcement to the front and instead of putting them on the inside like normal, I put them on the top to raise my motor slightly because my current clearance from oil pan to power steering rack is very tight. Also started working on more wiring. I need to get some grommets to protect the wiring and I wish it took a picture but it actually got the Ford sync to load in the car on the dash haha.

28 days til event, 25 ish til shakedown hopefully. And 7 days til startup! If I can manage to get the rest of the work done this week.

Brake adapter welded up. Had to cut the stock MC linkage off and weld it to a nut on the chase bays booster delete MC. Bolts right up now.

V bands welded on, test fit and now onto O2 sensor bungs. Then hopefully putting this back in the car this weekend if my brake line parts come in. It's much easier with the engine out of the car.

Look at those baby headers haha, should still be good for 600HP at the wheels though.

Bungs welded in I will only be running front O2 sensors so I only have to do them right at the collector. Tune will shut off the rears because I am running catless.
