No wiring was needed unless you don't already have the rain sensor option. I used NCS but the best module to get is this one(6961141). I had trouble coding a different LCM IV...

Yeah my 98 had none of the options lol, I've done all the wiring for the rain sensor but I'll have to check which LCM I have now.

Yeah that's the guide I followed, I'll check my LCM when I get home and see if it's correct.

Installed a GROM Bluetooth USB in my E38. Integrates with my CD43 and with GROM's Dashlinq App and a Smart Phone even at 3x the Price of the other USB units you will be satisfied with none of the limitation of the cheaper generic Version

Even the USB3 GROM I got I had to buy the Bluetooth Accessory that Plugs in. Don't know if the unit you have has the plug for it but if it does you may only need to get the addon

Replaced the Passenger Rear Full Window Shade (had a Rip and a Run in it) and switched out the Clip for the quarter window blind to one that was for post '97 while I was at it. In the Early '97s and prior the quarter blind had a hook that would hook into the clip. The Late '97s on had a hook like the vertical blind where the blind hooked to the hook... so to speak. BMW is very proud of those clips so I sourced my on Ebay out of Egypt for $5 each a couple of months ago and it took about 45 days to get to the US.

I already replaced the Driver side rear quarter shade and will change out that clip when I get some door panel clips as I broke about half a dozen tonight and popped over to Amazon and got 100 for $5 and free shipping

So no one was going to tell me we don’t have rear sway bar links on the 2001 740il? No one was going to tell me how time consuming changing all rear suspension and struts was going to be? No one was going to tell me the Jesus bolt touched the integral link bolt on its way to torque city? No one was going to tell me the rear strut bolts where hidden in Narnia?

Completed the Bilstein b12 pro kit changes and control arm changes on the 750, very happy with ride, stance and initial impressions are this will make a major difference in performance handling. 😀 old shocks where stuffed and had no rebound left at all, completed SLS delete etc as well of cause. Babies getting better

Today was a good day! I replaced the following:'
    1- Rear passenger window regulator
2- Akebono Brake pads all around
3- Stop Tech SS braided brake hoses all around
4- Removed old brake fluid (looked brownish) and pressure bled all around with Synthetic DOT 4
5- Replaced motor mounts (driver side fell to the ground in three pieces and they were BMW so most probably the original ones)
6- Replaced fuel filter (found out it was the original as it was dated from 5/99 and also had the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator broken)

Still pending are the brake rotors (got cross drilled and slotted from ECS Tuning), the flex disc and CSB that are being delivered tomorrow. And the rear driver's side regulator (finished too late and too dirty to work on it today! LOL)

Ohh you knew I was talking about the mounting bolts, I even put everything back and was like "ooohh whats this shiny clip thingy doing here thats supposed to be on the ball joint"?

Car drives better and feels so tight, now I can feel that there are bumps in the road, even the small humps I would glide over resonate all in my seat, its not uncomfortable, just noticable.
