Im going to check this one out tomorrow morning. I really shouldn't be buying another e38 but I have an iL itch to scratch. I think it would look excellent in the garage next to the shorty. Bringing my better half to talk me down just in case I start feeling too impulsive but looks really clean and cant argue with the mileage.

She was a beauty. Seems like it has a good maintenance history, the majority of the suspension and cooling system has been refreshed. The interior was really clean aside from the usual center console cracks. No glove box or cupholder issues. The only cosmetic nitpicks I have are aged/foggy taillights, driver side taillight turn signal was cracked, the clear bra looks pretty aged and needs replaced/removed, and the tint is a bit purplish. I'm gonna sleep on it cause I really shouldn't buy another e38 but I don't think someone in the market could go wrong with this one. As an aside it was doing better in the snow with winter tires on the mpars than my F150 with all seasons.

Can't expect them all to be perfect. Sounds like a good deal. These cars are the ultimate example of super cheap because of expected repair costs.

My '01 IL is white with black interior. But, as I posted last week it was built with all black but now has black and grey 2-tone seats.

Interesting. iL Sport with the Sport seats, Steptronic conversion, and 3 spoke wheel. Wonder what else it has? I hate that on CL: free ads with no limit on how much description you can put on there and they put up one word. ONE freakin' word. 'cmon, guy.

Another dumped and bagged iL with style 95 wheels, daily driver. I guess these are the Euro gangsta formula E38's. Funny how many I've seen modified in the same way. At least this one appears to be impala brown and comes with a Getrag 6 speed box on the side.
