2005 325CI Irratic idle and wont accelerate

This is my first BMW and the car ran well when parked 4 months ago, now it has a rough idle and when you press the gas peddle to go into drive the engine does not come off idle. When you let off gas peddle the idle will increase enough to move the car barely. A new battery was installed prior to this but don't suspect this has anything to do with it. Any ideas, ICV or throttle body ? Thanks for any help.

Check your FUEL PRESSURE.

I have got codes showing misfires on cylinders 2, 5, & 6. Installed all new spark plugs and coil packs, still shows random misfires. Cam or crank sensor?

What should the fuel pressure be?

Check fuel pressure at fuel rail Schrader valve ~51psi.

There’s a fuel pressure test valve on the fuel rail. The cap to the test valve is item #2 in the link.
