E30 front spoiler (lip) fix

I bumped a high curb with the corner of the black plastic lip that hangs below the bumper on my e30. Several of the plastic clips that hold the lip to the bumper are broken. Can anyone give me advice on how to remove the broken clips and install the new ones?

They have a pin that pushes into the clip. Try taking a punch and a rubber mallet and hitting the round part of the clip to get the pin to move. I’ll see if I have one laying around.

I have used black zip ties on mine, something to consider in the meantime.
