As others mentioned not a fan of the one piece headlights, but looks like its coming along nicely.
Not big on the wing shocks either, but to each their own.

The one piece headlights are just what were on the car when I bought it, they are being changed to the original lights. The smoked tail lights are also going and being replaced with oem.

Been a while without doing an update mostly due to lack of time to work on the project but I am finally starting work on the roll cage

Not too much new but a little further along. Things have been slow and I'm a little behind my projected schedule due to finding out we have a new addition to the family on the way but progress will continue even though itll be at a slower rate. Roll bar is in and now onto restoration of the front wheels.

Very nice rims!!
Looks like a nice project. Should be cool when you're done.
I gotta say it's been a fun build so far

I think an led lightbar might anger other drivers on the track lol

I forgot to add that this is not completed yet, next is cut to correct height, thread it for a shift knob, and then send to my buddy for powdercoat

00 540i/M6 Forgelines, M-pars, and boom, Oh my.
With winter here and snow on the ground, progress has turned into more planning for the spring. My next goal is to work on undercarriage aero. I know I am building a front splitter and rear diffuser over the next few months but I'm contemplating if there would be any benefit in doing a full smooth bottom so I can move the air under the car faster and gain more down force.

I would highly suggest a cutring + copper spacer on the head gasket. Went with MLS and made that mistake once.
